Fiiish is a Brittany-based brand which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. It has become a must for many fishermen thanks to its famous Black Minnow and its articulated hidden hook system. As a designer of innovative lures, it has established itself in the French fishing landscape thanks to its ability to offer technically developed lures that are above all easy to use!
RodHouse, leader of the rodbuilding market in Europe, has succeeded in a few years in bringing many anglers to the creation of their own tool dedicated to their fishing, to their use and especially to their specific needs. The numerous references of blanks and rodbuilding elements offered by Rodhouse allow everyone to build real tools based on legendary blanks.
Wishing to associate the technicity of the products proposed by RodHouse and the accessibility of the lures developed by Fiiish, it is with the greatest naturalness, based on many common points and similar visions that the two French brands associated for this first edition of the Zander Pro.
From this association was born a soon to be legendary crew composed of two passionate fishermen, with a deep understanding of the magic and the mysteries of the zander.

Directly representing the Rodhouse team, Tony is an exceptional fisherman, with a great deal of patience. Present in the Prostaff team for x years, his knowledge of zander makes him a specialist of this species.
Used to freshwater competitions, he is an ultra-fine fisherman with a dose of cleverness. Tony has acquired a solid experience, which has earned him many record catches.
Reactive, accurate and with a strong team spirit DNA, Tony is complementary to his teammate Stephane, and together they form an ideal team to break all records.
STEPHANE
« El Zander-man by excellence »
Being in the marine environment since his childhood, Stéphane is a fishing enthusiast and knows very well his activity. Fiiish ambassador since 2015, he is a regular of fishing in the Seine and in kayak.
Having participated in the development of the soft lures dedicated to zander fishing within Fiiish, his technical knowledge of the environment and his capacity to analyze the environment in which he fishes make him a strong fisherman.
Fine fisherman, outstanding technician, no doubt that his experience will allow him to adapt to all situations !
STRATEGIC CHOICES
An atypical spot
With Spain as their destination, the RodHouse & Fiiish team is taking the opposite direction of the Nordic countries, famous for their zander fishing, and going on a tangent to the south of Europe!
This strategy was designed with the help of ingeniosity, feeling and the share of risk that our crew was ready to take in order to put all the chances on their side.
Spain proved to be a spot where, thanks to exceptional equipment and a high level team, the zander were hooked without any difficulty !
Number strategy ? big-fish ?
The Rodhouse&Fiiish team entered the competition with a common goal with the other participants: to finish on the podium! It is difficult to know in advance how the fishing conditions will be, nevertheless, several strategic choices can be made regarding the competition.
During this edition of the Zander Pro, 3 points are distributed each day between the teams. The points are distributed as follows: one for the number of fish, one for the top 5 biggest fish of the day, and one point for the biggest catch of the day.
Our team played on a strategy of numbers during this competition, unlike some competitors who opted for the record fish. Was it a good idea? Find out by following the latest episodes!
